The magnetic tensioner NMTE series uses permanent magnets to control tension strength by varying the gap in between the magnets and the main tension wheel. The non-contact mechanism design provides stable, consistent and precise tension.
It features a built-in photoelectric sensor for wire breakage detection and an LED indicator for wire breakage indication. Users, who do not wish to connect to 24VDC power can alternatively select the micro switch version for wire breakage detection.
The main pulley’s latest improved and upgraded design eliminated wire jumps and jams to ensure smooth winding. Mounting of wire break detection switch also been re-designed to improve its lifespan.
NMTE tensioners come with back tension adjustments; are suitable for wide range of winding applications.
